I don't get text messages or voicemail messages sometimes for over 24 hours. Then they suddenly appear. I also have a lot of dropped calls, or calls that don't come through to my phone. My husband has the same trouble with his AT&T phone.

I routinely drive from the Lake to JC then to St. Louis. I lose service right at the Center St. Exit in Holts Summit, in front of KRCG in New Bloomfield, and on part of "Y" in Rocky Mount. Other than that, I have great reception.

I have traveled all over the state with this phone on Verizon's service and the only place I have had any trouble was on a farm off a county road in Fayette Missouri. Traveling from Jefferson City to Kansas City to Omaha Nebraska and had no problems. Same thing when I traveled south toward Springfield and down into Arkansas. I had no problems with the service. All in all coming from AT&T the service is so much more reliable.

From the guys in my cell block, I seem to be getting the best reception. Some others have Sprint and US cellular. I can't always have the phone in clear site for obvious reasons so my ratings may be skewed. It's a matter of time before someone rats on me. When that happens, I'll lose my phone and I might just try Sprint next.

While in Jefferson City with T-Mobile I usually get 3 / 5 bars and in my home I am lucky to get 1 in my kitchen but that apparently is the phone model. When I drive to Springfield usually along route 5 I get no signal so I want to know if there's a company that you would get signal there. In springfield it's better and getting better since they just put up another tower but in my apartment I can get 3 bars but it's better than my parent's home. In the city I get more full reception. The calls are usually clear, last year I would break up a lot but it hasn't happened in maybe 6 months.
