I've been a Verizon customer for about 7 years now and I love it. I've never had an issue with reception. I've lost a call only once, and that was a fluke thing. The only time I've ever not been able to place a call was in a small area in Wichita, KS, and there were multiple people around me with ATT, US Cellular, and Sprint... and nobody's phone would work. it was not just Verizon, something about the area was wrong. GO VERIZON

I have always received EXCELLENT coverage from US Cellular. I have been a customer for 10 + years. I have traveled across the US and have always had good coverage. My friiends have tried several companies... they don't compare to the coverage I get from US Cellular!

I have been with U.S. Cellular for quite a few years. THrough out this area I get pretty good coverage, unless I am in a deep valley out in the middle of nowhere. Some of my relatives have other carriers and when I am with them, they are always borrowing my phone because theirs is not picking up signal. Even as I travel all around the country, I have not had a problem using my phone. Compared to the other carriers, I am sticking to what works: U.S. Cellular.

Coverage is great throughout most of Joplin. The only week spots are on 171 highway between Airport Dr.and Carl Junction, and on west towards Pittsburg. Their network is only a few years old here and I would rate it right below US Cellular and above Cingular. Both have their strengths and weaknesses. As long as you dont live north of Oronogo and west of Carl Junction you should be fine.

US Cellular was the first cell carrier in the Joplin area and has built a significant reliable network covering most of the rural areas around Joplin. If you're looking for excellent rural coverage in extreme SE Kansas or SW Missouri, US Cellular is the way to go.

Constantly calling someone and I can hear them but they never hear me. Or they hear loud static. This is really getting old. Talked to AT&T and they went thru the motions but didnt fix the problem.
