Overall customer service sucks. You pay an arm and a leg to get crappy service. The reception wasn't that great to begin with. Ever since they upgraded to the 4GLTE the reception is worse. There main excuse are the towers. I get very little Internet service with the MIFI device. I'll be switching service soon.

Great reception from sites in the Brookside area. Verizon is the best carrier, by far, in the KC area for coverage. I've been a customer for >12 years and with only a couple areas where I drop calls I have no complaints.

Up until about a month ago, Nov 2013, I had 1 bar on both my smart phone and my home wireless unit that I switched to from my land line. Now the home unit shows no reception and is red all the time and my smart phone shows no bars but occasionally show 1 bar. There is a Sprint tower 1 mile from my house, this is ridiculous.

I will summarize this for everyone. You will get better service with prepaid phones. Expect at least 20-25 dropped calls everyday and everywhere. Lte data is not accurate on the map and appear non existent. The data you get will be the slowest of any carrier. Now if you fall for the inlimited data trick then you got what you deserve. I pay less with our family now on AT&T sharing 10 gigs of data than when we were with Sprint. They need to file bankruptcy and give us all a piece of mind.

I have been a happy Sprint customer for 13 years+. Bought the iPhone 5 in October and it was almost unusable until January, when it only slightly improved. Multiple calls to Sprint, trips to the Sprint store, traded phones, trips to the Apple store and an Air Rave have done very little to improve the situation. It has gone from terrible to ghastly this summer, dropping almost every call at least once during a short conversation. Many apps don't work due to the poor coverage. I will be leaving Sprint as soon as my useless contract is up, and won't get sucked into offers of new programs. WHAT GOOD IS A PHONE THAT WON'T MAKE PHONE CALLS???! Wake up, Sprint--you're losing faithful customers due to your poor coverage! Please stop making false claims about your coverage--they are bold-faced lies.

Twelve Year Sprint Customer and can't make calls anymore from my own home. During any conversation I usually loose signal at least once and have to call back. I have a work phone with ATT and my family only calls me on my work phone now. Why stay with Spring?

This month I switched the family from Sprint to AT&T. Sprint dropped calls everywhere and I mean everywhere. The data is very slow and LTE is not in this area even though the map says it is. Sprint kept saying there is no problems in my area. When I told them I was leaving they said the tower has been under repair for 6 months. After 12 years, I left and I am not going back for nothing. The unlimited is worthless because the network is too slow to work properly.

Pretty good coverage throughout the metro area. I may drop a call every other month. Thinking of switching to T-Mobile because of there customer friendly policies. Gald to see they were rated 2nd.

I drive around this city every day at least 10 hours a day. I hesitate to even make an important phone call any more for fear of dropping the call in the middle of receiving important information. Text messages and data is no better. Why have unlimited data with Sprint. If they were your water company and gave you unlimited water for 100 dollars a month, but when you went to get a drink, it would only give you a drop at a time would you stay? Should have known better, when you sell the majority of your stock to a foreign company, you have lost confidence that you continue to grow. Customer service will tell they are upgrading, what a lye. Call me when your done Sprint, I will be at ATT. Still not sure, as your local government who they use for data communication, the ones that have Sprint, ask them how they like them, that will convince you.

Lte network is crap. Love the phone but sick if the excuse that our area is getting updated when it's not. So here's a free airwave so we can use up your bandwidth and your cable company's monthly plan. I'm not happy Sprint is using timewarner for their service to work. Shoudnt have to sacrifice any of my bandwidth for a simple phone call large or small. They also say install the airwave first and use the crap built in router. I have an ASUS ac66u but not supposed to use it cause we need to make phone calls. So um thanks Time WARNER FOR helping Sprint stay connected and not even realizing you are doing it. Expect better service from Sprint. Sick of excuses.

Sprint's coverage map is completely false. There is no functional coverage in this area. Any calls that make it through are dropped almost instantly.

Sprint is up to their old tricks again. Not only is the data speeds poor all around this area but now my text messages take between 1 and 8 hours to be recieved. Talked to other Sprint Customers having the same problems. Called Sprint and they want a physical address to look into the problem... Really Sprint their is something called Google Maps. Look it up and fix the problem and stop playing stupid

Sprint has got to be the worst carrier for cell phone in this area. Of course, with their customer service reps starting to not care about the customer that has been with them for 14 yrs. I say GOODBYE Sprint and I would not wish you upon an enemy.
