I drive the the city everyday and always have good reception. The only problem area is Gregory Blvd.and I-35 / I-29 hwy split in the northland. Now 4g sucks on the Missouri side of the line. I think Sprint thinks Missourian's are second class citizens. Sprint step up your 4g, especially in the northland before Missourian's turn on you.

Usually outside of buildings I get good reception, but inside most apartments, including my own, I have 1 bar and that gives me maybe 5 minutes before it drops my call.

The phone doesn't work at all in the house and it's very spotty when standing in the yard. It drops on the Lexington bridge and at Brooklyn and Indep. Avenue. T-Mobile gave me a new sim card and said that would fix it... it did not.

Where do I start? Constant dropped calls and Sprint's response is that it's my phone. Took the phone to their service center and they tell me it's the service. Doesn't really matter where I am in the city, calls dropped all over. Isn't it ironic that their headquartered here and the service is so horrible? Calls constantly don't come in until I hit a "good" area and suddenly I'll have multiple voicemails show up. Customer service is nonexistent since they just give you the runaround. LAME!

I don't know what others are talking about, they must have broken antennas or something. I travel up and down I-35 I-29 Hwy. 9 In Briercliff north of the river Gladstone, all over the Metro, without a problem. I even have a crappy phone, If one would turn down the music in their car, maybe they could here that their phone wasen't dead afterall. I have had people tell me at Sprint is bad. I have family members that don't like Sprint, but they keep re-newing their contract every 2 years... what does that tell you.

Can get 2 bars outside the house generally with an RSSI value of around -95. Go in the house and the RSSI value drops to -100 to -105. Calls come in half the time and you have to stand by a window with one leg lifted to talk. Sprint claims should be fixed by end of year?

I have had Sprint for almost 3 years now and have been surprisingly satisfied until we just move to our current location. I cannot get more than 2 bars in our home or on the porch. The strangest part of this is that I can get a decent reception after 1pm or so and can make my business calls without them being dropped. Very strange issue I have on my hands and will most likely purchase a 1900mhz booster for my phone (because it is cheaper than getting monetarily stabbed by sprint's contracttermination fee).

Sprint not only has many areas north of the river in Kansas City that lack coverage but it's customer service is pitiful (see below). Don't even think about using the phone inside your home. You will lose the call within a minute of connection. Other problems are that most of the time when someone calls you, the phone will never ring and the call will show that it was "missed". Voicemails will be mysteriously "dropped" for no apparent reason so you will miss important calls. In addition, don't count on using the website to look at your bill. Half of the time the website doesn't work or is so slow your browser will lose the connection (this is on a high speed broadband connection, by the way). To top it off, they frequently screw up and / or just render your username and password useless on line so if you are "paperless" you may not see your bill for over a week at a time. The website will direct you to call a number at which customer service will cut you off and not be able to help you restore your username or password anyway. If you cave and decide you HAVE to have Sprint, then whatever you do, don't go paperless. Demand that they send your bill every month. Also check the bill very closely because there are often calls you are charged for that you have not made.

I live in this area on top of a hill, and seldom get more than 1 or 2 bars and frequently drop calls when signal is lost totally. Reception inside my home is even worse, and I usually miss calls totally because they do not ring through. Surprising since this is such a busy area.

WORST customer service I have ever encountered. I "upgraded" phones and in exchange for a $150 rebate that never came am stuck with the "hometown carrier" for 2 more years. I spent hours on the phone with worthless representatives trying to explian that I was owed money only to find out it was their fault the rebate was never issued... they offered me a $5 discount on my next monthes bill then tried to sell me another line of service... no wonder you are losing money.

constantly dropped calls... 75% calls never ring or show up on missed calls, messages show up days later, totally frustating. Sprint also tells you they will credit you for the problem and then you find out they haven't credited you, or written it in the notes, then they tell you they are sorry and can't help you after the charges are on the bill. Round and round every month! They are getting worse and worse for customer service!

No problems, rarely get a drop call. The problem, I think lies in the phone. My Sanyo is GREAT. When I first moved here from STL I had a Samsung phone which was HORRIBLE. I was getting droped calls everyday, sometimes 4-5 times during one call. I will Never buy another Samsung again ever. I am sticking with either the Sanyo or Motorola.

Over the last few months reception in River Market has improved dramatically. Can go all over and never drop a call. Still drop calls at intersection of 635 and I-29 as well as the intersection of Overland Parkway and I35. No reception at a couple of lakes up North. Great reception and internet connection in the rest of the area.

I thought it was a bad phone. Everyone I work with gets poor reception with their Sprint phones in that area. The Verizon phones that people have get excellent reception. I'm less than a mile from a Sprint store too! The drive home through Westport to Overland Park gets dropped calls and no reception whatsoever.
