I have received near-perfect reception in the St. Louis metro, with a few exceptions. These are most likely due to terrain and local ordinances against the construction of towers. Sad that so many demand perfect reception, but refuse to allow an ugly tower in their neighborhood. Priorities.

Fantastic reception, not just in my home area but I travel all over the city and out into the boonies. Had the service for about 6 months and have yet to drop a call!

I have had no issues with signal and VZW. I travel all over the city and country and there are very few places that my signal is not good. People complain about phones not working in their house or building, but keep in mind wireless is meant to be used out of doors and not in!

Recently switched from Cingular to Verizon, always dropping calls on I 40, I 270 with Cingular. I travel the eastern side of Missouri and never got great coverage from Cingular. So far so good with Verizon

Have numerous dropped calls. Can watch bars on phone go up and down without touching or moving phone. Customer service sent engineering dept. out a few times to check area and say nothing is wrong on their end. Dropped call twice while on the phone with their customer service! Phone just goes blank. They have changed out sim card, and replace my phone with different models 4 times.

Antenna 1-2 bars at most. Reception is poor to none in most rooms of the home.

Poor reception at best with anything Cingular. Cingular sucks. My old AT&T TDMA phone could get reception anywhere. Then I upgraded to GSM America, what a mistake! If you live in St. Chuck, go somewhere else for a phone.

Cell service goes from perfect reception to poor or none on Hwy. 70 halfway between Belleau Creek Rd.and Hwy. 79.

Service is terrible out here. A lot of the time, I have no cell service at all. Incidently, there is a Cingular store down the street from me by WalMart, and the guy in the store is an idiot when it comes to why there is no signal. I wish they would put up another tower or else I'll switch my service (I wonder if any others would be better.) *sigh*
