I have never before been sooooooo disappointed with At&t's service, as I have the past few months. The reception has dropped to zero the past few months! People tell me they called me 5 times - but my phone never rang - and then all of a sudden I have 5 voice mails. The problem is not with the phone - had it checked out. I have to repeatedly attempt to call out - usually get messages like NO SERVICE, NOT ALLOWED, NETWORK BUSY, SMART CHIP REGISTRATION FAILED and NO NUMBERS! I am due for a phone upgrade, but am hesitant to sign up with then for another two year contract because other AT&T customers I know that have newer phones are having similar cell reception problems! Too bad because I have been with AT&T since 2004. I have complained over and over again and nothing has changed. I did finally get a credit on one months bill - but that doesn't help me place or receive calls! I get so frustrated some days I just want to throw the phone aginst the wall! Except the phone is not the problem! AT&T service is a BIG problem! I used to brag to my Verizon friends about how good At&t's reception was - NOT ANYMORE!

Just updated my phone fter being told that my bad reception was due to an outdated phone. Wrong! I still am not able to send or receive many texts and calls are still being dropped for no reason at all. What can be done about this? I am a long standing customer and the service I am getting is bad. The only way for my phone to respond good is to drive 7 miles to town. Not happy thinking that I now am expected to buy a $200.00 booster just to use our updated phones that also require a data plan. What can be done about this? My pnone is now 1 week old and am considering bringing it back, dropping the data plan and going back to my old phone since it works as well as my new one!

3G went into Rolla, MO, but not to their tower that is about 3 miles SW of Walmart in town. Please, AT&T, extend 3G to that tower (off CC road). It is the only way we can use our computer and I imagine a sizable chunk of others would be able to use theirs too (i.e. people in parts of Rolla, Doolittle, Newburg and surrounding areas).

I get great service with Verizon. Much better then AT&T.

perfect reception in town, but bad once u leave city limits

Good at intersection, bad at bottom of hill on "O", but decent in the Cypress, Turkey Run area.

Never have a problem in rolla, south of rolla on 63 it gets pretty spotty until Houston though.

I never have any problems with my phone in Rolla. While driving west on I-44, I almost always have perfect reception!
