Warson and Somerset Downs is in a valley. No cell phone reception by any carrier in this area.

Sprint / Samsung combo works great everywhere in Clayton and 40 / 64 corridor except in "dead spot" at I-70 and 40 / 64. Calls always drop there.

I live in Oakville, a close in suburb of St. Louis and Sprint sucks! Actually, my girlfriend has ATT and for every time she's without a signal, I'd conservatively say that I'm without a signal 3 times. The worst pisser is that I lose a signal at my home which is only about 14 miles from the Arch. I've called and complained and nothing is ever done.

I RARELY cut out. Only a few times when I try to hold the phone on my shoulder...

Reception at my home is spotty, but I rarely have had dropeed calls. Reception on Kingshighway North just off Hwy. 40 untill the hospital zone is passed is notorious for dropped calls almost every single pass.

I hardly ever have problems anywhere in Saint Louis (or any other city I visit regularly like Detroit, Chicago, Las Cruces). I have only EVER dropped calls in Ladue where all carriers have fewer towers, and in the Lindbergh tunnell under the airport. My business partner is on Cingular and is constantly dropping calls. I think service must have everything to do with the competence of the phone!

I roam in my house, which is at the end of Mildred by Fairview.

Poor reception outside, especially around South Grand. Just 1 bar inside most brick buildings in South City and calls usually don't ring (but I will get the "voicemail ring").

Only 1 bar of digital roaming indoors in my first floor apartment of a two floor unit. 1 bar of normal service outside, but you can't talk for more than 5 minutes or so without having your call dropped. Even digital roaming only gets 1 to 2 bars outside and frequently drops. This makes me think other carriers will not improve the situation. A service ticket has been submitted, but based on the experience of other posts, I'm not expecting a happy resolution of the problem. Sprint gets an F.

Sprint not only has poor reception, but poor customer service!
