Horrible service downtown St. Louis I get aproximately 2-5 dropped calls a day downtown, especially at my exact location.

This teeters between average and below average. I mostly get 2-3 signal bars on my phone. An occasional dropped call as well. It could be our building though, I don't get nearly as many dropped calls outside eventhough I don't get any more bars of service. At home, great coverage.

UMSL, Saint Louis, MO 63121 Tue Aug 21, 2007

For having "the fewest dropped calls" Cingular / AT&T is absolutely horrible in St. Louis. On UMSL Campus I can hardly hold a conversation on my phone without breaking up and / or being dropped. Pretty sad since i'm in city limits! Get better reception out in the boonies about an hour north of the city! would not recommend for use in St. Louis city

One to zero bars at work. Even outside in the parkinglot I'm often without a signal. This is in a major metorpolitan area near an airport where everyone but Sprint and Nextel users get plenty of signal. Traveling on vacation along major highways where there should be good coverage, had poor reception and many dropped calls. My contract can't end soon enough.

Coverage is slightly better than Sprint, but still not very good. If you walk outside to make a call you can usually get between 2 and 4 bars within the Crystal Lake Park municipality, indoors it varies from 0 to 3 bars depending upon elevation (upstairs or down) and obstructions (how far into the interior of the house you are). It is definitely not "reliable" coverage, but AT&T / Cingular seems to be *slightly* better than Sprint, T-Mobile, and Verizon.

Outdoors you're lucky to get 1 or 2 bars, with numerous dropped calls. Indoors it fluctuates between 0 and 1 bar, and calls are almost impossible. Sprint is not the only "culprit"... most cell carriers are very weak in this area, no doubt due to the area municipalities (Crystal Lake Park, Des Peres, Frontenac, and Town and Country) refusing to allow any cell towers.

Flameglow / Milburn intersection, Saint Louis, MO 63129 Thu Jun 14, 2007

I live in Oakville on Flameglow near Milburn and reception is terrible in parts of my home... often only 1 bar and dropped calls are not uncommon. I always hit a complete dead zone at I-270 and Gravois as well as other parts of Oakville and a stretch of I-55 heading South towards Cape Girardeau. A few years ago my plan was with T-Mobile and my reception was great... I changed because the person I talked to the most had Verizon and had just entered into a new contract.

I have NO connectivity issues even in the basement of the buildings. I frequent the bottom floor of the Student Center which is a brick and concrete building, and I have never had a connection issue.
