that the best reception that I have had since I got a sprint

My brothers virgin mobile phone gets great reception in the local area. I plan on switching over myself very soon.

Many drop calls

Reception terrible in 11th floor condo. Consistently lose service. Service falls of when walking from one part of room to another.

I get good signal outside, poor to sometimes no signal in my house. Standing in the doorway the signal gets good. Service is average, better than I had with T-Mobile. I dropped my cell coverage to go with Vonage, $25 a month now with unlimited minutes to the US and Canada. A good deal for me.

I get good reception outside the building, but once I'm inside I barely get any signal. Have had dropped calls. It seems like Cingular doesn't have too good of a service outside the metro limits.

no reception at home, CWE poor in general

Outdoors I normally get between 4 and 5 bars, but indoors I normally get 1-3 and it can get very choppy. It's the network's fault (Cingular)-- not the cell. I love my Nokia. Overall, though, I'm pleased with Cingular's coverage.

From home I get 4-5 bars consistently, with no or few dropped calls.

Great reception even in a building. Drops off inside elevators though.
