3G in Sedalia now (11-2010) but voice quality STILL terrible. Very hard to make a call that is understandable for the total duration of the call. AT&T seems to care less and just try to pacify you until they can get you off the phone. Probably gonna bite the bullet and pay the early termination fee just to go with Verizon. At least I can make good quality calls when my son is here with his Verizon phone. FYI: ATT only has one tower location and it is on the west city limits. Go figure!

I have been stuck in the AT&T / Cingular plan for almost two years. Reception is very spotty no matter where I am in mid-Missouri. It is amazing to me that AT&T claims great reception for it's customers, but when I call their service line they blame the phone! It is never the signal sent out to the phone. Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't the number of bars means the signal "received" from the carrier, and not what the phone is capable of sending out? Ha. The AT&T service line technician said whatever he could to force me into another 2-year commitment! Surely a company such as AT&T would never do such a thing! Yeah, right!

I used to be with Sprint, never had a dropped call, never a problem with bill. I wanted a new phone and a new plan for a second phone which Sprint wasnt willing to deal with without major $$!I switched to Cingular and am totally disgusted. First I got two lil T62 phone and I traded them in, driving 200 to a corporate store to do so. they burn up my sims card while activating and made me pay for it. The second phone was for my kids in another small town. Cingular promised great reception there - Absolutely NO signal so my kids could not call me all summer. Reception in my own home sucks, dropped calls, static etc. I am very disappointed and stuck in a two yr contract.
