Once you get off the major roads in the Shelbina area, AT&T signal drops off sharply. I have to walk around the yard at our farm SE of Shelbina to find a signal and then not move in order to make a call. There is also the issue of US Cellular, the major carrier in the area, not having an agreement with AT&T, so you often find yourself off network. AT&T started kicking people off their phone service for having too many out of network calls in this area because of this. I have better reception with this phone than my mom with a cheaper phone both on AT&T, but still reception is poor in the country. Other than this area, I have had great reception with AT&T all over the country.
