Since approximately 2 Apr 08 Verizon signal has been week (this happened the day we had 80 mph winds) and calls are being dropped by everyone that I have talked to in Slater, Mo. I have complained to Verizon *611 twice, they failed to respond in 72 hrs. So after the second call, they reported that yes your area has weak signal, and I said that we don't need a tech to tell us that, just fix it or expect us to drop our contract. We did not have this problem until approx 2 Apr 08. They didn't have an answer for the problem and had no idea if it would be fixed. Further, the Verison rep that works in Marshall, Mo and lives in Slater has reported the same problem. Sounds like Verizon no longer gives a damn about the rural area nor my money.

Depends on where I'm at in the house as to whether I have any reception at all.
