Service is excellent here in Springfield. I have never experienced a drop call and the voice quality is good to excellent. Data service on 3G is the best in the area, as of now writing this no 4G networks here yet. I push 3-5 mbits, and have topped out at 6 mbits. 3 is the limit on Verizon.

I cannot make a call from inside my home.I have to go outside.2 bars in the house and when I try to call out it drops to 1 bar.I was told 2 towers were out in my area (near the mall). Also was told nothing they could do about it and would not blame me for switching companys.AT&T has really gone downhill in the last year.I have at least 4-5 dropped calls a week, but the last 2 weeks have been hell.I would switch to Verizon.

Very poor customer service experience at the ATT Battlefield and Lone Pine store. Clerks act with indifference.

AT&T offers few problems with their service. Their customer service however is horrible. I have a problem with my Razor. I visited both AT&T stores on Kansas Expressway. I was given the number to file an insurance claim and shuffled out the door. No offer of upgrade or apology. The first guy gave me the number, turned around and walked away. I'm now looking into switching providers.

I have to say that my AT&T experience has made me understand who the wireless industry has the worst customer ratings of any other industry. I frequently get dropped calls with AT&T, variable signal strength at a given location is also common. Even more fun is when you look down and your phone shows missed calls even though you know your phone never rang. I've a friend who reports that his experience improved dramatically after switching to T-Mobile, and since my current plan commitments are met, I plan on giving them (T-Mobile) a shot. Will report back on that in a year or so. In the meantime, "Ma Bell, you ain't what you used to be."

Always good connection all over town, even in the elevator, which was not possible with same carrier and an older Motorola phone before (So at least some of the reception is the phone). I changed over from Sprint when I moved to Springfield about 4 years ago. Sprint had terrible coverage. I got a $500 phone bill from Sprint when I first moved here from all the roaming charges and I never left town. I will never use Sprint again. I am really happy with Cingular / AT&T.

i830 sucks compared to my old i95. Nextel works well inside my house including basement and good coverage within Springfield city limits but very bad or no reception in rural areas.

Sprint claims to have amazing coverage here, but it is simply not true. I have three Sprint Phones and none of them receive coverage here. This is true for the surrounding blocks as well. Interior vs. exterior does not make a difference.

Text Message come delayed up to 20 min. often out of order. Which has caused many miscommunication issues. 3g internet is VERY slow! Even tried changing browser (opera, firefox, dolphin) I can't wait till my contract is up to get away from this service. My Best friend has a walmart straight talk for $50 cheaper and has better service than me. Now that's just wrong! I was with Alltel for 11 years, switched cause Verizon wanted to raise my bil $40. I should have paid it! Only reason I give 2 stars, is because the phone is pretty awesome. But hey, all the carriers carry Android...

My service with T-Mobile works great if you're in the city or on the interstate and some highways. The farther away from civilization you get the worse the reception gets. My wife had Cingular and now she has Sprint. Both of her phones get pretty good reception in rural areas when I will have none. Other than that, T-Mobile has been excellent. Their customer service is the best in the industry and I haven't found a deal comparable to what I'm paying right now. My contract is up too and I'm hesitant to switch carriers because of both of these reasons.

Consistently good reception around Springfield with excellent call quality. When leaving town phone will seamlessly handoff call to Cingular network if T-Mobile towers are not present. Overall I'm very impressed with T-Mobile.
