Coverage used to be good. Now I sometimes am unable to make phone calls. It usually works but just has weak signal. When I get out of town towards Rogersville or down in Cassville or on the way to KC, there is often no signal at all for AT&T while my friends with Sprint and T-Mobile are fine. Hopefully something is in the works.

I've been with Verizon for about 7 months. but here's the thing, I'm useing a 3g flip phone that's over 4 years old. and I must say that Verizon is the absalute best cell service I have ever had. not only do I get outstanding reception but I never have a droped call. my Verizon flip phone punches through literly tons of concrete and stell like apli monster as far as cell signuls.

I love Verizon cell reception. Had them for years. However they over twice as expensive as Tmobile. My other cell phone in Tmoblie drops 4g to H+ and 3 G signals. Its a lack of enough cell towers for T-Mobile here in Springfiew. Verizon has more towers and coverage. I live in city limits east side and cell coverage is spotty. Lots more towers in center city.

I live in a regular wood frame house. T mobile usually 1-2 bars. My other phone on Verizon gives 3 bars. Sometimes at work I can not GEF a signal on T mobile. But never a problem on Verizon. For some crazy reason Verizon has more Towers in Springfield MO than T-Mobile. Sometime data on T-Mobile drops to H+ or 3G. Verizon always on 4G XLTE.LTE. HOWEVER TRYKNG TO DEVIXE IF DROPPING THE VERY EXPENSIVE VERIZON OR NOT ON MY OTHER CELL. NOT SURE ABOUT ATT. BUT I HEAR THERE SIGNAL NOT AS GOOD AS IT USE TO BE HERE IN Springfield. T-Mobile is half the price I'm paying Verizon.

Coverage in the city of Springfield is pretty good, but once you get outside the city limits, it's poor. Saving money by switching to T-Mobile is tempting, but don't do it. I went right back to AT&T and am very happy. Also, there is a big disconnect between what they tell you in the store and what customer service tells you. Trust me, stay away!

Awful coverage recently. Used to be good, but they must have changed a tower or something.

Very seldom get 4lte anywhere and if I'm in a place of business I can forget getting much of a signal at all. Only way I can get much done is when connected to wifi. Leaving Sprint as I write this review.

Having a condo in Florida, I found I enjoy driving mostly. I can tell from my experience. I only lose coverage around the Arkansas state line, a 14 mile area. Not bad for a 1200 mile trip. Working around truck drivers all day, they will tell you the same. Most people don't use their heads when buying a phone. A lot of people think they most have these big screen fancy phones which is lacking for picking up a tower. If you really think about it the free phone that comes with the service plan is the best one for getting better service. Since phone companies don't want a phone that won't pick up a tower correctly. They will give you the best one for their service to keep the account... ... ..

There are MANY consistent dead zones inside the city of Springfield. Traveling out toward Lebanon on I-44 there are several dead zones; same thing traveling toward Joplin on I-44; traveling to Buffalo down US65 or Bolivar on MO13 again, several regular dead zones. Heading down 60 toward Seymour / Hartville several regular dead zones. Don't even think about heading toward Ava, Gainesville, Theodosia if you want to use your phone at all. The "good" thing is that you learn quickly where you can't use T-Mobile because it is the same places all the time. The strangest part is on I44, MO13, and US65 it is when you get close to a cell tower that the signal drops. It almost feels like, in those cases maybe it's a phone issue but I honestly have not been able to investigate with a different phone, just my Nokia (don't laugh I buy cheap phones and go no-contract on purpose lol :-) ). To be fair I doubt any carrier has great coverage south of 60., but I am not satisfied with the coverage in Springfield Metro at all and I can't think of a good excuse for that. I wasn't thrilled with Sprint's metro coverage either. AT&T was good but we'd had a falling out over my package being "discontinued and no longer available" so I left them (that was probably 6 years ago). I still have Verizon and US Cellular to try so hooray!
