had Nextel for two years at same address very bad service, swithched to Cingular and the difference of night and day improvement.

I recently subscribed to Verizon but had no reception at the lake unless I was out in the middle of the lake or at a high elevation. I was able to cancel my contract with Verizon and will switch to Cingular. Both my brothers have Cingular and have wonderful reception all over the lake.
