Absolutely no 3G service in Waynesville, Mo. You would think with a Military installtion they would have it. AT&T says they are retrofiting the old towers for 3G service now and should be complete in December 2010. Hope it happens AT&T or I will have to switch to Verizon.

I got this new phone last summer, and I rarely have a long-distance call last more than five minutes. Before, I had a Nokia model that worked a little better with much fewer dropped calls, but I think AT&T's presence in South Central Missouri is just terrible in general. When you have to call people back 2, 3, 4 times to continue 10-minute conversations, you know it's bad.

I almost always have great reception. Occasionally I have only 2 or 3 bars, but it is usually maxed. I did a lot of checking of services in the area before deciding to go with Cingular, and I am glad I did.
