My friend switched to Verizon Wireless from AT&T because of the lack of service in the area, and he said he loved it. We went on a trip and he had service in more areas then my AT&T phone did. Also, he had 3G service too. I was stuck on EDGE. I'm coming from a iPhone 3G. I made the switch and I love it! My internet is fast, and I get 3G all over the place. I can now place calls in my house! I have some friends and family who are about to switch.

I've been with Verizon for 2+ years and am very happy. I have always been able to make a call and never have any drop calls. I have traveled to Alaska and Hawaii and have used my phone.

Good reception. The calls are nornally very clear and are not dropped.

Not bad reception for this phone in the Brandon MS area. Go into the boonies, and it's all over. GSM with ATTW is strictly along the main interstate routes, and spotty coverage on HWY 80 to Starkville MS.

We do get reception in most parts of our house and yard and while driving near the interstate. Coverage is hit or miss beginning 2 miles from I-20. Used to have coverage at deer camp in Union, ms, but now NO coverage. NO coverage inside most buildings including our places of work and stores. We have had TMobile for about 11 years because they have the best customer service, but if I can't make or receive calls then I am wasting my money. Unfortunately we will have to change carriers when our contract is up.

In the last 4-6 weeks we have had many dropped calls and very poor reception from our home in Bridlewood subdivsion. 1-3 bars on service graph is typical with most time only only one bar

Cannot use the phone in our yard ~ front or back ~ have to go to the mailbox to talk. The newer more expensive phones seem to have poorer reception than the old Nokia.

I live in the middle of Crossgates subdivision in Brandon at the north end of Sunline Drive. I had fair coverage with older Nokia analog phone but none to occasional reception with Motorola V70 GSM phone. Plan to change carrier as soon as contract expires if other carriers have area reception.

Started off with Nokia phone. Signal poor in Shreveport area where I worked. Also poor at my home about 15 miles south of Brandon. Poor to none along most of northern FL and easter GA where I travel often. Sometimes I would be within sight of a tower but I had no signal. Frustrating. Cingular switched me to Motorola. Said Motorola was programmed to roam quicker. No improvement.

when Cingular was my carrier, the phone worked in my area, however, when AT&T took over I can't use my phone at my residence. This has been brought to their attention several times with their excuse of "there are trees around the tower". Trees have always been there. I am 2 miles from the Interstate. Trust me, no one at ATT cares!
