Reception is great in most all areas. I very rarely drop out with this service. I will be leaving Alltel, however due to them trying to add $30 to my already $110 bill to charge me for a service I've already been using for three years. Ludicrous...

In the Camp Danzler Black Creek area, AT&T service usually 1 bar with edge service. Reception is highly variable and unreliable.

AT&T worthless inside of Wild Heron property where we live. Have to drive down to the edge of Lake Powell to make calls. AT&T is also spotty on the west end of Hwy. 98 toward Walton County. Neighbors say that Verizon is the way to go. Just wish I knew that before I moved here from out of state and now that I have just purchased new phone with two year agreement.

I get great reception all over town. Admittedly, the service used to be terrible but it has gotten a lot better in the past few months. Coincidently I've had my 6682 for most of those months. I almost never drop calls now and I rarely hit a dead spot. I go all over Hattiesburg - great service on USM's campus. I travel to the coast, Jackson, Laurel and Purvis. They are expensive but everything that I want to work works everywhere I go.

SPRINT PCS claims to be the vig player in Mississippi, but their service is less than 6 / 10 of a watt per foot over line of sight! Finally, I had to drop this company, although it will cost me $150.00 to do so, it is called: "CUTTING MY LOSSES"

I have had Sprint for about 1 month and overall I am satisfied. I travel to Louisiana alot and I dont have any problems while traveling. The only thing I don't like is that I can not make calls in certain areas in my apartment and if I am able to make a call it drops if I go into a no reception zone.

I have been with T-Mobile for about two years now and they have been wonderful prior to me moving into my apartment about a year ago. I live in an apartment complex about.5 miles away from a major university where the service is outstanding, but when I become within one block of my apartment complex (NO SERVICE). I have called customer service about twice and they are telling me the same thing, "We are going to get an engineer out to look at the towers" but still I have not seen any changes in the reception. I am really getting tired of not having service in my place of residence being that I am in a pretty popular side of town. T-Mobile needs to do something about this situation or I am going to be looking to buy the contract out and pay my money to someone who's service I can rely on! What if there is an emergency and someone is trying to contact me, I am screwed as of now!

The reception is always spotty. Often, I do not receive calls or text messages at all, even if I am standing right beside the person calling me. The only way to get decent reception is to drive on 49 or Hardy St. Inside buildings, calls are repeatedly dropped. Customer service is alright, but signal is rarely better than one-two bars.
