I get great reception with Verizon. My old iPhone didn't work at all out here, and we had little to no coverage with Sprint.

I get good reception (2-4 bars) in my house. Outside I get full 5 bars. I live halfway between 2 towers and switch off constantly, but have very few problems or drops. My wife and I have used 4 Nokia phones (6610, 3650, 6230, and 6620) with Cingular and I find that they work much better than most other manufacturers on this network. My EDGE internet spped is a bit slower in North Mississippi than in Memphis, but it is still on par with dialup (50-65 kbps) and better than what I had with T-Mobile GPRS. At my office in Memphis, I stay well above 100 kbps.

When we moved here 5 years ago the reception was terrible. For about the last three years it has been great. We even get the EVDO network. Wife has a LG Chocolate and sometimes drops calls but my Motorola works great.

I've had this same phone 2 yrs. When folage is off trees, I can sit and talk inside my house. In the past the same applied for summer and winter. Since the change over from Cingular to AT&T, I get rotten reception inside (distorted voices, dropped calls I use to NEVER get) and outside I get good reception if I walk away from house and do not mind getting heat stroke and "skeeter" bites bringing on West Nile Fever... .no thanks ! Having talked to them til I am blue in the face, no help ! I am considering another carrier. Things changed with the change to NEW AT&T from Cingular !

I have had Cingular for over 5 years-received good service until recently--been at this location for going into 3 yrs. but last 2 weeks or more having several dropped calls,no service, which is not a good thing because when you pay for service that's exactly what you want. I've reported it but if it gets any worse than what I been dealing with these so called "Cingular has the fewest dropped calls---"I'll be going to another cell phone provider- well, if you ask me that advertisement or saying is way "over-rated" especially not the truth!

No reception inside. Poor, 1 bar outside. I have complained and asked for a tower closer, since this area now has two schools (soon four schools) and much development, but no results. Dead Zone! Time to change

I have had Cingular for going on seven years, never had a problem. I live in a rural area but have always had rather good service. You have to expect a few dropped calls when you live in the sticks. But I have to say ever since AT&T bought out Cingular my service has just gone to $^!*. I am dropping calls every 2 minutes it seems like and I live in the same place I have for the last twenty years. AT&T sucks! When you pay $100 + a month for two phone you should atleast be able to talk between the two of them without too much trouble. They need to do something to fix this mess!

Inside, outside, Even near windows, a call could drop at any time. Reception might improve with an extendable antenna.

Used to get good reception until about 3 months ago. Now virtually no service without dropped calls anywhere within the Edgewood Subdivision. Will try other carriers shortly.

Sometimes get 1 bar. I will be changing to another carrier soon. Complaining is useless. I can't reach customer service with 1 bar.
