On campus I get good reception, 3G everywhere, except on game days. So many people come in at the same time on game days that the service grinds to a halt. Off campus service is good in town, but as soon as you head out of town all bets are off.

Near hwy 7 I get little to no service with AT&T. On campus my calls always drop. On the other side of town though service is great!

I have lived here for 8 months now, and I have never gotten anything other than 1 bar. Half the time I can't get any coverage at all.

I have the National Plan and I am dropped in the middle of a call about 4 times a week, but the reception (average 4 / 5 bars) is good. I think my problem is the old tank of a 5165 that I have. I think my phone has trouble transitioning from 1 cell tower to the other.

Overall, the reception I receive in Oxford is pretty good. I have noticed that since the new GSM towers went up in mid-July, service is much better. For instance, I formerly had no service at all in the Delta, and now I have the usual 3-5 bars of reception. So, I am satisfied with the way the new towers are receiving.
