Verizon 3G has been available in West Point for about a year now and very reliable. Never a dropped call.

Will drop calls EVERY time at HWY 45 / 389 Intersection and then again just inside West Point city limits... ... it's even worse with purely digital phones as most of the towers in our area are still analog... .

I go from 1 bar to no signal within my house. I am returning my phone and cancelling my service. We need more towers so we can have an alternative to Cellular South

All calls are dropped as you drive to the end of Hickory Drive. Why doesn't someone put up another tower? It's truly crazy.

I live on Torbert Dr.in West Point and DO NOT get reception inside my house, outside my house, or otherwise from my house to Eshman Ave. then North up Eshman about at Hwy. 50, I may get 3 bars then. I finally get bars at Oak Hill Academy. Cingular is rediculous, but I can't pay the cancellation fee for a new phone service.

Hwy. 50, 46, West Point, MS 39773 Thu Nov 02, 2006

With Cingular Wireless, once you cross the long bridge at West Side Vet Clinic on Hwy. 50 West you have no more coverage. I live approx. 18 miles from West Point, Starkville, Houston, and once I leave WP I am out of luck. All my neighbors have cell phones, most with Cingular, but none of us can use them in our rural area. They are only good once you are close to or in one of the local towns. Why have a cell phone if you can't use it? We definitely need more towers in the rural areas.

Good(4 bars) as long as in West Point. Leave WP going East to Columbus or West on Hwy. 50 and gate a couple miles from WP and lose signal. Cingular needs to add towers in the area as they are not the all over network they claim.
