	Since Verizon bought out Alltel, the reception here has been slowly going downhill. I was hoping with AT&T's "purchase" of Alltel business in Montana that it would be a positive move towards better coverage. As of today, my hopes have been dashed! After receiving a cell message to call immediately about AT&T coverage in the area; I called the number provided. To make a long story short... there will be no service within 70 miles of town because there are no AT&T towers and no plans for any. Looks like Verizon kept the towers and sold AT&T the customers! Therefore, if you live in rural Montana there IS only one provider of cell phone service - Verizon.

	In the south side of the house I've got a roaming signal (2-3 bars) and the north side of the house has a non-roaming signal but with 0 bars. My cell phone and computer modem connections are alway being dropped. Some folks here have Verizon; depending upon where you are standing they have average reception. I wonder what will happen when AT&T takes over the Alltel market here; better or worse reception? Maybe I'll have to go back to just a land-line phone... .
