When Whitefish first got 4G, 2012-2013, it worked pretty well, but in the past year it has barely been good enough to call it 3G.Was this review helpful to you?
A year ago coverage was good. They said they MIGHT have lost a tower lease. Also said for a couple hundred dollars we could get a signal booster. Was this review helpful to you?
Lucky if I get 1 bar. I have straight line sight to tower, 12 miles max. No obstacles. Cut loose Verizon, get us on satellite as New Zealand did 20 + years ago. No problems with signal then! Spend some of OUR money wisely! Was this review helpful to you?
Someone said it so much better when they desribed their new smartphone as a glorified paperweight. How can bars go from 1 to 3 or even 4 (only seen once for few seconds) and still can't hold call? If I leave light on and watch my phone bars with out touching or being on phone the bars are constantly fluctuating. My service with Verizon was better few years ago. Whats up with that? I call Verizon and they say I am only customer complaining. Then they strongly suggest I invest in an in home cell booster.. for several hundred dollars. Am I really only one with problem. Was this review helpful to you?
Coverage has been almost non-existant at my house since AT&T took over for Alltel. I had great coverage, inside and out, with Alltel. Looks like everyone else has the same problem I am having. Not just frustrating, for those of us trying to run a business in this economy, dropped and missed calls are costing real money. If you complain to AT&T customer service they will credit you for dropped calls, I would much rather just have a cell phone that works. Was this review helpful to you?
No internet since yesterday (5-23-11) I get error messages 635 This stinks! Never had issues with Alltel My smart phone works though? Is that picking up different towers? Same issue last Monday night! I am not impressed! I need internet! Was this review helpful to you?
I checked the service coverage of Sprint prior to me visiting Montana the first time and it said there was roaming coverage and no Sprint service. Once I got here I noticed that my phone was not roaming and had a Sprint signal. Since then I moved here and have noticed slower data but voice works fine. My buds with Verizon seem to keep service longer when traveling to remote areas. Was this review helpful to you?
Since I purchased my Storm I have not been able to get reception at home or driving home. Major frustration! Was this review helpful to you?
I have had Alltel for almost 4 years and for the last two I have lived in Happy Valley. I average 30 dropped calls every month with my LG phone. It is extremely frustrating that reception has never improved the whole time I have been with Alltel. I can't wait for my contract to expire because I am going with Verizon. Everyone I know that has Verizon has no problems with reception at my house, and is happy with their service. Goodbye Alltel. Was this review helpful to you?
I'm up on big mountain and the service is very iffy. Reception varies from 0 to 5 from one moment to the next. Was considering changing carriers but from the reviews here it sounds like they're all going to be poor up here on the mountain. Cellular One customer service is running some tests but probably the best they can do is send me an external antenna to boost my reception. My Nokia 6010 has consistently outperformed all my friends' phones for reception which is why I got it.Was this review helpful to you?
AT&T Wireless (TDMA)
Probably due to the fact that Happy Valley is in a depression along US93. TDMA reception in other areas of the Flathead is anywhere from 2 to 4 bars, depending on terrain. Was this review helpful to you?
