Beginning 12 / 17 / 11 three cell phones aren't working on Verizon in downtown Apex. Can't hear caller, dropped calls, no ring and right to phone messaging, all happening. Opened ticket with Verizon and she said it does look like a tower issue. Spent 1.5 hours resetting, etc. two of the phones with Verizon level 1 service, even though it clearly wasn't the phones... three different phones on same towner, clearly not a phone issue. Hopefully Verizon will actually fix it soon.

Had really good reception with Verizon until around March of 2011. Now the signal is very poor, and Verizon hasn't corrected the problem. We will have to look for other alternatives.

Just terrible. Checked with other Verizon users and we all have the same problem. Don't know if Verizon is working on it but I am now looking at other providers.

Great reception, no problems, I DL at 1.2 Mb / s, not bad for a cell phone. Someone said earlier they DL 6 MB, I am not believing that, but eh, who knows. I've seen mixed reviews about sprint, mostly bad, but I must be the ONLY fortunate one as I have no honest complaints. Either that or everyone on here just likes to complain.

Street level performance is usually very good anywhere in Apex. The problem is talking in the house. I have a T-Mobile "Hot Spot" in my house and it does work, but it seems to take several seconds to make the connection when answering a call. Also, there is some type of delay as I am always stepping on the person on the other end as it sounds like they have finished talking when in reality they have begun their next sentence. Overall service is pretty good.

Coverage is pretty weak. Sometimes as many as 3 bars, but usually 2 or lower. Also, no 3G coverage. Only EDGE. Sometimes your phone will say 3G, but that quickly switches over to EDGE.

Terrible reception. Can barely make calls inside home. Usually have "No Service" message. Zero to one bar outside. Get two bars once I leave the area. Constantly miss calls and receive voicemail hours later. I so hate AT&T, then Cingular and again AT&T. Jerk Rep at Beaver Creek talked me into this phone telling me it had state of the art reception. Went from a two bar old Motorola flip phone to this piece of crap. Pleaded my case to them and they laughed wanted another $100 plus fees to exchange for another phone. I had to obtain a land line so I can make calls. As nice as Apex is, area is lousy for cell reception, takes a really good phone with an exposed antenna.
