There is terrible reception once leaving Mack Road, going down Arabian during peak use times. This is an obvious low power problem with Verizon because I get three bars, in the house, at low use hours. Verizon admits to the problem and yet refuses to offer a booster or other considerations though with a booster, at our house, the whole neighbothood would get better reception.

Originally had contract with AT&T (Spring 2004), which merged with Cingular, then Suncom took over. Was pleased with plan, coverage, and phones. Had good reception at first with AT&T (at home and just about everywhere else, except 1 small spot on Zoo Pkwy, close to Crestview Rd), now with Suncom our coverage is LOUSY, at home especially. Had bad experiences with Suncom reps over phone and in store in G-boro. Was told over phone I had to wait for another SIM card (since we had 2 phones and they only sent 1 card) to activate on network, then they said our phone serial #'s (model T721) wouldn't register with the network, and they'd give us 2 free upgraded replacement camera phones. Needed phones ASAP, so went to the stores in Gboro instead, and they unlocked them with no prob (there went our new phones). They also "accidentally" changed 1 of our #'s, had to straighten that out. Now we have really crappy coverage, plus Suncom doesn't have very good plans yet. Glad our contract runs out in less than a yr. DON'T CHOOSE SUNCOM! They DON'T get it, and neither will you if you choose them!
