Reply to the guy who said ATT didnt work in Cherokee. Not sure whats wrong with your phone pal. I LIVE in this area... If Verizon works in an area, so does ATT..they are on the same towers. I was on Verizon for 5 years and my ATT phone works anywhere my Verizon phone did and a few places around Bryson City, my ATT will work better!.. ATT is on a local Mtn. top that Verizon is not, so.. BETTER Coverage. AND NO HASSLE with ATT like Verizon. Just switch the SIM card and switch phones. I love it. My 16 YOA daughter was killin' 2 fones a year texting and Verizon charged me to activate and xfer phonebook everytime(even tho I just bought the phone from them at RETAIL)... NO MORE..just switch the SIM!

We have just started with reception in this area and it is great. I could not use my cell phone at home before and had to travel about 1 1 / 2 miles before I could get any reception. There was a tower built here and now it is operational for Nextel and Verizon. Verizon has service in almost all the states so their coverage is very good. Now if we could just get dsl.
