Verizon 1 Out of 5 Phone Model: LG vx3100	Excellent Reception In and Around Asheville and Most of Candler. The poor Reception Starts after you cross the big hill on Pisgah Hwy.. I Have to go outside my house to make a call, and then I still only have one bar. The signal however is strong enough that I dont Lose calls, but they do drop out a bit if I move around too much.

Virgin Mobile 0 Out of 5	No reception about 1 / 8th of a mile past Pisgah Elem. School. Very frustrating since I live 7 miles down Pisgah Hwy.

Verizon 0 Out of 5 Phone Model: several LG	I have used several cell phone carriers (US Cellular, Sprint / Nextel and Verizon) About 200 yards before my house it drops out and about 200 yards after my house it picks up again on to drop out when you get to the incline of the mountain. Sometimes if I cross the street I can get enough signal to dial out but no where in my yard or house has any of these worked even though I can see the cell phone tower from my house. Very frustrating.
