You guys seriously need to consider us cellular! i know the company is not as big as like Cingular or Alltel but you will be blown away by the reception. I have an apartment in aberdeen southern pines area, I work in carthage, and I am on a fire dept in the north end of moore county and just about everywhere I go the signal is great!

2 out of 4 calls to my Droid X go to voicemail without a ring. Finding a place withn the house where I can call out is problematic with a location working today not working tomorrow. I must repeatedly resend text's due to failure to send. The Verizon representative in Aberdeen informed me that Verizon had recently upgraded the network and I should see an improvement. None seen in the six months since then. After I leave my neighborhood and go into downtown Carthage the service is near perfect. Verizon needs to change their coverage maps to show the Km Lane area as limited coverage, even when roaming.

Reception is terrible in the house. Even outside, it is spotty at best. Once I leave the area, it works ok.

2 out of 4 callers to me go to voicemail with no ring, even with a signal. I'm usually showing EXTENDED COVERAGE or Verizon Wireless 1X mode. It flip flops between the two every 5-10 minutes. It also eats through my battery life a significant ammount more than when in large cities with EV-DO coverage. I will usually have a droped call (on my end) at least every other conversation and guarranteed if driving more than 5-10 miles. The worst part is that Verizon's website show SOLID coverage for this whole area---what a load of you know what!

I've encountered poor reception from Sprint virtually everywhere in NC and in Florida, except very large cities.
