My bars go from 5 bars one minute to 0 bars the next minute, I can send txt, check email and call out fine one minute and the next I get error messages saying I have no connection. People try to call me and it goes straight to vm, I never see a missed call. Very unreliable service for a phone with so many options. They need to worry about their quality of service and not what they can pack into a phone to sell it. I also get no signal in the rural areas and country. 3G would be nice but I would rather have service all over eastern nc that 3G service in one city.

I've been with Sprint for about 5 years. The reception in my house sucked until I went and bought the Sprint Airave. It's a little cell tower that hooks to my router with a GPS attached device. The unit is $99 and the service is $5 a month. Now I have the full 5 bars and no dropped calls. I'm not a big fan of subsidizing Sprint's poor coverage area but several cell services do not work that great in the Castle Hayne area so I bought the work around. If you are with Sprint, I recommend this unit highly for spotty coverage at your home. Please note that the unit only does Voice and not data but you will not have another dropped call. I've had it for about 4 months and it works like a champ. I'll be dropping my land line shortly.

I have a hard time receiving reception in my home. If I receive a call, I have to find a spot in my home where I can receive a bar or two.

Cingular has talked a big game in coverage and "more bars" and I have yet to see results. Cingular, before Bellsouth, was a good one on one business based on individuality. Now, everything is automated and not even their sales associates can get into accounts. They have to call national customer service everytime. Cingular needs to return to their roots.
