Zero reception in my home and for 3 solid blocks from my front door. Cingular has been great in their efforts - we have talked to many folks there, even the engineers, but all in all we have no service.

Impossibe to complete a call in my house. Sometimes reception is possible in the yard. Last carrier was Verizon, not much better, but cheaper. Carriers don't seem to care about improving signal in residential neighborhoods. If I find a better carrier signal, I will switch. How can I find a better carrier?

little or no reception from A.G. Middle School To Sharon Road, repeated calls to Cingular have gotten no response except "We are constantly upgrading our network accross the country" This area has had poor signal for over 5 years.

I bought the Blackberry 7100g as combo phone / Blackberry having switched from Sprint / Nextel. The data signal is fine and I get my Blackberry messages with no problem. I have a terrible time with phone service. Almost no signal the entire length of both Sharon Rd.and Park Road. No signal in the BofA Corporate Center (where my office is). I called Cingular three times to complain, they said last time it was "ice on the tower" and tht all customers in NC and SC had no cell service. When I told them my problem had been going on for months, they couldn't deal with it and told me I had to go into a local retail store. Boo to Cingular.

Second verse, same as the first... virtually no reception in the building, little on the grounds, better as you get back on the street.

Wouldn't you think that Cingular would figure out it would have some great business out of the Southpark / Myers Park area if they could just get folks some FREAKING reception??!

Reception is horrible in my house, the number of reception bars vary from 0 - 1 depending where I am in the house. Lot's of dropped calls due to poor or weak signal.

Reception is in and out inside my apt, I have to sit still in certain places to have an extended conversation without dropping the call or going in and out. Calls are dropped consistently in certain places on my way to and from work in the Coliseum area... ..overall, the service is mediocre. I've been with Cingular for 4 years and was thinking about switching, but the more I read and talk to others it's obvious that I'll probably have poor reception in certain areas with whoever I choose... ... so, reluctantly, I think I'll stick with Cingular. On a more positive note, customer service is always helpful and easy to work with.

Part of the AT&T sellout to SunCom. Awful experience at the SunCom office to "update our SIM cards". Took hours, had to switch to new phones, lost all stored contacts, and messages. No service in our home and we only use cell phones! First bill from SunCom was in error over $300! This is wrong. I hope there is a class action suit against SunCom and AT&T - there are a lot of angry customers ready to participate.

Being one of the 200,000 AT&T customers that got handed over to Suncom... . We have had 4 lines for several years, stuck with AT&T. Suncom's reception, customer service, and technical ability is ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE. We will be leaving them asap, once we figure out who can provide the services we were accustomed to. If you are thinking about "Truth in Wireless" be sure to avoid Suncom. Was unaware of what really happened with the AT&T ~ Cingular merger... but dumping 200K of your customers without explaining what was to happen... Remind me to never run a business that way (which I have been unable to do professionally using a suncom network with dozens of dropped calls and poor reception).
