The intersection of Queens and Selwyn and Radcliffe, near Queens University, has become a "dead" zone in the last two months. I get reception inside my house with a "network extender" but no reception outside or within a 1-2 block area. What is the problem? This is new and we never had reception problems before. Anything to do with the construction at Queens University?

Dead Spot on the main floor of Charlotte Convention Center from Verizon Wireless. You would think they would put in some sort of signal booster for a venue such as this! Especially with the Democratic National Convention coming to town. Come on Verizon, you can do it!

On the main floor of Charlotte Convention Center Verizon has NO OR VERY WEAK COVERAGE! You think they will fix by the DNC?! We participate in a multi day show there every year and it's terrible. Seems they would atleast put in a repeater or something for all their nice customers!

Zero to poor reception in this area, inside or outside of the house. Be wary that coverage map shows an area of "adequate" reception in the hole geographically here. Husband and I both have AT&T several years and we often have no service when at home, however AT&T is best I've used everywhere ELSE in the country. Watch out if you live near here don't travel.

At home and in the city I get enough reception to make and receive phone calls (there are some signal shadows around the big buildings in the city), but staying connected to Google Talk and IRC networks hasn't wored very well the past few weeks. Luckily my phone (HTC Merge) has good battery life even when on wifi so I just connect to my home network when I'm there. I've never had any dropped calls in the city or the surrounding area though.

Mostly no bars inside house. Occasional 1 bar. Receive message waiting shortly after caller leaves message, but don't receive the original call. Some parts of the house have fair reception. I've tolerated this for many years and am switching to T-Mobile tomorrow. Goodbye and good riddance ATT!

Original Cingular Service was great. AT&T has progressively gotten worse. Especially in 2011. Now, Sep 2011, service bounces from "Seraching" to 1-2 bars (inside or outside). Battery drain overnight due to searching. Rare 3G service. Verizon was no better. I refuse to pay for a pico cell just to fix their service in an area they claim shoulf be 5 bars 3G !

Most calls not received in my bedroom. Several minutes later, I usually receive a missed call alert. Other areas of the house are spotty, particularly on the second floor. First floor is not much better. This has continued for years. I plan to switch carriers soon. ATT just puts you off when you complain. I haven't talked with anyone who had ATT service who has been satisfied with the service. How can such a company be so huge and prosperous while providing such poor service?

I get about 1 bar in my house (usually need to go outside to talk). Barely get 3G, and not a single ounce of 4G. The coverage area indicates I should have a strong 4G connections. Go figure!

The signal used to be full 3g. Since January 2011 it has been 1bar 3g or 1bar 1x signal only. This problem has now extended to uptown charlotte also. My coworkers and I get very poor 3g signal since June 2011.

Okay, so until last week I was COMPLETELY satisfied with T-Mobile. Somehow I'm not getting service in this area or in my house now. I though it was my phone, but my phone was replaced on Tuesday and I'm having the same issue. No calls or text messages and frequent loss of netowrk coverage. I'm getting annoyed and I may be leaving T-Mobile soon if the issue isn't resolved immediately.

In my apt. there is dropped calls, the buffering sucks&can't watch videos,tv on my cell,etc... can't play any games or do anything involving downloading including the internet. I currently have a 3g phone and want to upgrade to a 4g but I feel it'll be a waste of money unless I move away. I'm very disappointed because I chose Verizon based on the dead zone commercial I saw being that I knew my area wasn't the best.
