Panther game day. I have sec 140 tickets on the south side of the stadium and 3g service will not work. Can't even get my ESPN fantasy football app to load. $147 a month for the service! Love the phone, hate the service! I will pay $200 to break my contract if Verizon gets the iPhone. There is no excuse for this. Quit buying other companies and spend money on the service. When Nascar picked up Nextel that's when I left and went to AT&T. It does out perform Nextel... .
I have lived in CrossPointe townhomes for 2 1 / 2 years. Cell reception is almost non-existent. I have tried AT&T and T-Mobile and get no bars. Have a Verizon service, but get very poor reception. I don't understand why something can't be done to improve the reception in the area. Does anyone know? As soon as I turn out of Highland Creek, the reception goes to full bars. Is something blocking the cell reception?
Reception is good. Have ahd T-Mobile / Sun Com for over a year and have had no problems. No 3G is kind of awaful for data services, but that should be expected. EDGE is slow slow slow. But for the $ the PHONE, plan and imited data capabilities cant be beat.
I found a company that sells Cell Phone Signal Boosters! I have had mine for three weeks and it is fantastic. I got one for my car. It cost about $250 and installed in about 5 minutes. I NEVER loose a signal - even when I drive up to Boone and Blowing Rock. The company is Solarlantis here in Charlotte. Their number is 888-822-7413. I believe they also have solutions for Homes, Offices, Boats, and RV's.
In the house I have 1 bar, and that's only if I stand near a back window. Outside, maybe 2. If I drive to Concord Mills Mall, I get the max. bars. Highland Creek must not have a cell tower. C'mon Verizon, we need better service here!
When I'm in my house I get 1 bar of 3G half the time then itll switch to 1 bar of edge. When I go outside though I'll get around 4-5 bars immediately since AT&T have updated their towers in this area lately
Reception isn't great but decent. I can make calls from my basement which is all I really care about. Never really dropped any calls. Only thing bad about Verizon is the amount they charge for their data plans.
Cannot speak on the cell phone in my house (near this intersection) if the call is important (Business). Outside coverage is passable. I believe all carriers have issues in this area of Sardis Rd.
