Great reception BUT Do not use this cell phone company unless you are residing in Eastern NC! I just moved and am facing staggering bills upwards of $400 when I only used to pay $65 a month due to the use of "other cell towers, which cause a huge fee to US Cellular." Then I was told I breached my contract by moving away from Eastern NC. I am looking for a carrier here but looks like no one is happy. Does anyone have any good reccomendations???

I don't know if it is the Razr or Cingular / Att. I had a Motorola v551 before and it was better, but I still had bars fluctuating all over the place with both. I'm tending to think that the Cingular / now ATT towers suck in Charlotte

Reception very poor. When I called Sprint they said they had a tower nearbye.

Used to be fine until a few weeks ago. Now, everybody in the office that has Cingular is complaining about an almost universal dip in coverage throughout the metro area.

I often have no reception or a "searching for signal" messege in my home, but if I stand on one leg, arms straight, turn my cap on backwards and blink my eyes every 45 seconds the reception comes in perfect. Oh! did I mention it has to be done only from 2am til 2:15.

there are about 3 mile in which Wendover, Sharon and the SouthPark area have horrible connections. Surely one tower along this route would help solve this issue. We are located well-within the city!

Even with bars flicking from 1 to Full, as soon as I enter Myers Park at Colony by H.S., or Sharon Rd / Sharon Lane intersection, I cannot make a call; I lose my call; or I can hear the person I called and they cannot hear me at all. I have reported this area to Cingular for four years. It seems to be getting worse. The reception in my Southpark home (Giverny) is also bad - - so much so that I had to get a land line for my business. I can hear them, but they say I am breaking up - - all this with Full Bars! I just am dumbfounded that we have to pay over $100 for substandard service. How is that possible?

I have Suncom I RARELY have any bars inside my house and cannot make a call go thru the first time. I have constant dropped calls. I just moved here from Mt. Holly and never had ANY problems there. I don't know if it's is because cell towers are scarce due to the airport nearby or what.

Not at all good. OK in the street. But who wants to stand in the street to hold a cell phone conversation?

Very Poor. Especially in the Apartments.
