we live a couple hundred yards from Jetton Park, and often have 'no service' on our AT&T phones. All our neighbors who have AT&T (and verizon) also have no (or spotty) service. Verizon recently announced that they're building a tower near the intersection of Jetton and Catawba, maybe it's time to switch back to Verizon.

Just switched from Cingular / ATT which was abysmal after merger, dropped all calls, Blackjack battery drained everyday searching for signal, $300 paperweight. New Alltel service has 4 bars all the time and no dropped calls. Buh bye ATT.

Nextel seems to be the best for reception, however isn't very good either. Over all, as long as I am outside, Nextel seems to work the best.
