We need reception. There are over 250 new homes in the development across the lake and we need the lake covered. Thanks for your help.

I get no service in the apartments, unless I leave my phone on one small corner of my bed and even then it is like hitting a moving target. Really this is a college area and they cannot even put up a small tower in this area. Verizon does not work at these apartments either. The only provider that gets full service there is Alltel and they say their phones does not work here. Does anyone see a problem with this? AT&T says if you buy a signal amplifier "that cost $200" then you can get service. I think this is a conspiracy to get the phone companies more money. They could put up towers for AT&T and Verizon here, but they chose not to because small towns are not worth their time.

With a tall mountain nearby with power and lots of people without coverage in this area I can't understand why someone doesn't put in the at least the most basic cell phone tower installation even mounted on a phone pole it would cover a very large area. Guess we just don't rate. Nearest tower is about 10+ miles away on the other side of the ridge. Know everyone in this area would sure like some coverage.

I live at an apartment complex located on the backside of campus and have absolutely no service whatsoever in my apt or for that matter anywhere on this road! It works well if you are on the front end of campus like Summit, Rabbit Ridge and those other apt complexes across from campus. Great reception and service. Or buy into the Verizon monopoly with their crap phones and service, but the area coverage is great! That's my review. From a gradute of Western Carolina University Dec 07!

I have from 1, 2 to no signal! It has gotten so much worse then it used to be! I used to get at least 4 bars. I'm very disapointed with Verizon wireless.

Cingular is getting their towers working around Cullowhee. As of 1 / 29 / 06, I had full signal outside on campus... 1 bar inside Helder. There are still supposedly upgrades and new towers going up, so this should improve soon

I get great reception around campus. It just doesn't get service in the elevators in Forsyth. Um, about time that Verizon stepped up because Cingular isnt worth crap out here unless you are standing in the Wal-Mart parking lot on a sunny day.
