Outside I can get 1 or 2 bars, but inside any building is ZERO bars.

I average 3 bars in the house sometimes it fades to 1 but I never drop calls. At work in Cornelius off Bailey Rd.it is horrible indoors and 1 maybe 2 bars outdoors. Supposedly a new tower will be built to cover the whole but I don't know what providers will fill that tower.

I agree with the person who said they had to walk outside to use the phone, and then it only works occasionally. I miss voicemail messages because the alert does not ring. I drop calls all the time and go into Analog Roam many, many times throughout the day. And Sprint customer service is the pits. As soon as my contract expires I'll be looking for another carrier.

I live in Davidson and work in Charlotte. Reception is good in both places and all the way to work. Sprint has good reception in major cities but spotty in rural areas. I can't live without the wireless internet service sprint offers, great backup internet service (mobile internet) to my cable modem.

My daughter bought a T-Mobile phone before going off to Davidson. The phone store guy promised good coverage. The only place on campus she could make a call was standing at the top of the football stadium. After a long, nasty contract buyout we switched the same phone to ATT and she has good reception, indoors and out. It's also common knowledge that Verizon has full campus coverage. Also, I have gotten 5 bars on a cheapo Tracfone(which runs on ATT towers). Similarly, PagePlus Cellular, which runs on the Verizon network should have great coverage with low prices.

There is a Verizon Tower located on the Davidson College Campus which provides good coverage for the campus and town.
