Reception is poor from my home... cant explain it except to say that it happens with my work phone as well (verizon).. I switched over from Sprint for other reasons but I dont recall ever having a reception problem from my home with Sprint.

Terrible reception; dropped calls, static interference, voice distortion and lots of times no service. Verizon needs to udate their towers in this area. Several complaints have been made to service reps at Verizon and nothing has been resolved. I just signed a two yr. contract. I detest Verizon for all the problems I am having. I am in the process of pursuing other measures.

Couldn't get reception inside my house until I switched to the Blackberry. Now use my cell phone instead of the house phone. Don't know if they improved service coincidentally with the purchase of the Blackberry or if it is due to the type of phone. But, the service is good now.

At home I make calls, one time I'll have great reception the next second I'll lose the call. I've had people call me and not receive the voicemail or even a notice of a missed call til the next day. Alltel really sucks around Fayetteville and Ft. Bragg. There are times I'll dial a number and have to wait almost 2 minutes before it will actually start to dial.

Crappy service out here. Dropped calls, calls that go straight to voice mail and phone never rings, must hit retry for text msgs often. Have to walk around house for people to be able to hear me. Getting ready to switch to another carrier.

I had Alltel, until I switched to Verizon for my husband. I liked Verizon at first, but now the reception sucks. I can only get one or two bars around my area. My house never has a bar unless it's a miracle. My broadband internet is horrible and slow because my signal with Verizon is horrible. My husband and I are both having problems. When I had Alltell, I had a signal every where even in Raeford the city and Lumberton. I never had any problems with Alltel signals ever. I should've stayed with Alltel, my husband and I are going to switch back to Alltel.

Nextel promised more coverage since they joined with sprint. What a crock that is. Lately can not get a signal or you will have full bars and the phone goes to dial and drops and goes to redial and then finally does nothing just like the carrier. Call in and all they tell you we are working on it, with no resolve. They talk about us breaching contracts and wanting to charge early disconnect fees. Well its about time we hold these phone companies to the fire, they can not provide service, so who is breaching a contract now. REVOLT!!
