Verizon 5 Out of 5	We live in the back of beyond - part way up a mountain. Verizon reception is excellent (surprisingly as we're well away from any where). My son has AT&T and his phone always goes to voice mail - his reception is extremely poor everywhere in the Asheville area.

US Cellular 4 Out of 5 Phone Model: LG Titan	I have been with US Cellular for over 10 yrs now and have worked all over WNC with fellow co-workers who have other carriers and US Cellular has worked in most places the others haven't. Verizon is the only one that is close to the coverage of US Cellular.

Verizon 3 Out of 5 Phone Model: Moto V710 & LG 4500	My wie gets 3 bars on her Motorola and I get 1 bar on my LG. Switching my phone to Motorola - seems to work better. Verizon seems to work best in Fletcher - with the right equipment!

AT&T 1 Out of 5 Phone Model: Motorola V220	Changed from US Cellular to Suncom / Cingular and saved over $100 a month Some days it works from home and some not. lots of dropped calls every where. Guess you get what you pay for I never had a problem with US Cellular

AT&T 5 Out of 5 Phone Model: Motorola RAZR V3 (Black)	After reading several comments on Cingular service in relatively the same areas I've come to realize that the better phone you have, the better quality reception. Everyone with a Razr has no complaints. Others have higher signal losses. I've just switched from Sprint where there was some overlap of service. Therefore I could see first hand the reception difference. Where Sprint would lose signal, Cingular was still strong. Maybe it's because of a better service or it could be because of a better phone. But it is what it is. I'm very satisfied. I had left a rating for Sprint several months ago for same location. When my contract ended I made the switch.

Sprint 2 Out of 5 Phone Model: Sanyo SCP-8100	At my home receptions is poor. Around town reception is fair with troublespots: Hendersonville Rd near Arden Square shopping center, and Mills Gap Rd. around Brookwood golf course just to name the worse spots. Otherwise coverage is mostly acceptable. I put below average because where I live and where I work are both troublespots! Not the worst but can use improvement.
