Good reception, as long as you stay on the road. Bars qiukly dropped when entering the Ramada Limited Hotel (zero bars indoors), Quality Inn (1 or 2 bars, if near a window), and one or none at the Wal-Mart in Forest City. Looked at an apartment at Cleghorn Plantation in Rutherfordton. There is NO service for AT&T customers once you leave interstate 74. Husband purchased a Verizon phone, which works near the front door of the apartment, but do not move from the door... very disappointed in the lack of service in this area.

The Internet is dismal. You can go a short ways in any direction and have 3G. A couple of these areas are smaller populated areas than Forest City. That's AT&T not providing quality service... .someone is dropping the ball on this one.

Whenever I go home to visit forest city the cell phone coverage is hit or miss. 3G forget about it
