I get no reception. Occasionally I can get one bar from my top deck. I am not sure what the distance of reception for a tower but one out our way would be helpful to many.

Verizon is fair to good on west side of Franklin, but once east on 64 a couple of miles there is zero service.

Most of Wallburg area I get good reception; except at my own house : ( I have to either stand in the bathroom or in the yard to hold a conversation at home. One other bad spot is at intersection of Shady Grove Church Rd and Friendship-Ledford Rd.

They appear to have put in a new tower this past summer. I now get a pretty good 3G signal from Verizon at my house. I've even tested tethering to by BBerry for downloading from my computer and got 500Kbps download speed. Verizon is the best network to go with around here.

I run both AT&T and verizon, up in this area I have been waiting for 15 years for towers, call them at least twice a year, and same ol same ol. The mountains and trees absorbe signal real bad, the Verizon if things are just right you might get a signal with outside antenna for min until trees move, AT&T no signal at all with outside antenna, tried all kinds of stuff, They just need to put in repeaters or small towers in areas were there is no signal anywere on there maps. we have had white for both carriers like I said for 15+ years and nothing has ever changed for the better in this area, only for the masses There is plenty of people in this area too!

cingular works fine at my house. it's Verizon that sucks. I get 3 bars in my house (brick house) and full bars outside

Cingular in Franklin,NC sucks! I miss most of my calls and I have to pose and lean over my patio to get some reception. I keep my cellphone on the window pane and carry the bluetooth device to be able to talk... ..
