Whenever I literally cross over the tracks from Gastonia to Ranlo my phone dropes from 4 bars to barely 1 bar. Call do ring in but there isn't enough signal for the whole thing to go through.

We've had no complaints with our Nokia phones and Alltel service here in Gastonia, just West of Charlotte. We've been customers for two years. Our reception is almost always superb all over town with both local and long-distance calls. We weren't charged for the very few dropped calls we've had. The customer service has been Excellent. Plus, the new 'My Circle' feature has already proven to be a huge benefit.

Reception is up and down, and I go from Sprint network to roaming just moving room to room! I normally only average 2 bars an the 3G is just horrible very spotty. There are some places in my home that I have no 3g. I do speed test all the time and never get over 100-250k. The only good thing is that I get 1 bar of 4g service near windows, but I have to be very still and not move too much or I loose it. But at least I can make phone calls and send text with ease.

Don't have reception most of the time and 3g stinks and I can forget 4g... . How can you justify charging for 4g phones and service when the 3g you have is so slow and spotty... .

In the house there is one bar of strength, sometimes. Calls are dropped frequently. If the call is not dropped the person I am talking to will say that my call is breaking up. Have Verizon for the family plan, but from my house can not successfully call anyone. No room in the house gives a good signal. There is a signal booster Verizon has for $200. Would it be worth the price I wonder. A tower <1 / 2 mile away, which is on higher ground than my house, but still reception is awful. I get better reception on the interstate driving from state to state. Have done *228 without any improvement.
