Service deteriorated for the last approximately 2 months. Unless it improves I will have to change carriers.

Atrocious. Absolutely, undeniably, horrible. The phone gets 2 bars in the parking lot and 1 in the apartments. I thought it was the phone but it was tested to be fine.I asked Verizon what to do about it, their answer: buy a mini Verizon tower for $250 to put in my apartment.

I live between Alamance Church Rd and Forest Oaks. The reception for ANY phone is horrible. My phone is useless. And now that I have a bundled digital phone, cable and internet, when my power / cable goes out, I get into the car to drive down the road to call Time Warner or Duke Power. It doesn't matter who I go with, my phone simply does not work. And any vistors who come here that use other providers also can not get service. The neighborhood is a DEAD ZONE.

My reception has been great with Verizon. I travel across the state for sales and I have very little problem with Verizon Service. None of the cell providers are perfect but from my experience Verizon and Alltel are the best in NC.

The recption on the second floor inside the building is horrible. I mean horrible! Calls never come in and the only way to make a call is to stand near a window. Even then the signal is very low.

Great inside. Great outside. I'm constantly tempted by Cingular phones... until my friends on Cingular ask to borrow mine. Have never had a dropped call in the GSO area. There is an odd spot where business 40 and regular 40 split westbound. Don't drop calls but lose quality big time for about 30 seconds. No big deal.

Motrola 270C
Airport Area / Westridge Rd., Greensboro, NC 27410 Mon Jun 20, 2005

I have been thru six different cell phone services and about a dozen different phones. Without a doubt Verizon is the best. The Motorola 270C is a tri-mode CDMA phone, and offers coverage in areas where the LG phones have none at all. This is a discontinued phone with speaker phone and vibrate selections. It matched with Verizon service gives 100% dependable service in the triad area. If you are unable to find a Motorola 270C phone, I suggest the Nokia 6015i. This is a dependable phone and it works well in marginal reception areas, however not as good as the 270C. Forget anything made by LG or Audiovox if you need good, dependable phone service.

Enter any building on the North Campus of A&T State University, and you have no coverage. I've been experiencing this problem for 3 years, with 2 different Motorola T-720's and my current LG VX4400.
