Terrible reception for Sprint in the area. All the others work great, including Nextel. No plans to fix the issue either.

In my home there is no reception 90% of the time; but outside I have weak reception about 60-70% of the time. There MUST be something better than Cingular / AT&T for use in Summerfield.

Poor to no reception at work. Even switch to roaming most times. Others with Sprint have the same problem. Verizon, Alltel, Nextel, and AT&T have full signal, all through the building.

I have been very satisfied with Alltel's reception. I always seem to have great reception, even when friends on other networks have none; and they allow you to change your plan without signing a new contract. That is nice to know - if your useage suddenly increases or decreases (in my case it was a new job). I would definitely recommend Alltel to any one in the Greensboro area.

I got stuck with another 2-year contract with Sprint after dropping my phone in a sinkful of water... I was two months away from the end of my contract and two WEEKS away from moving to a new home. Well, I really wish I hadn't dropped that phone now, because many times I can barely get a signal in my own house. Sprint blames it on the phone. So what? I should get a signal in my house, right?

I can't make one phone call in that area that goes through. I am not sure if it's the phoe, the towers or both. Should I change carriers?

My reception has been great with Verizon. I travel across the state for sales and I have very little problem with Verizon Service. None of the cell providers are perfect but from my experience Verizon and Alltel are the best in NC.

At best, my husband and I both encounter fuzzy reception through this stretch. I usually drop my calls, including one today. This is right smack in the middle of NW Greensboro near Bryan Blvd. Why is service so bad IN TOWN?
