Almost Impossible to get Virgin / Sprint Reception on ground level. In order to get any call through you LITERALLY need to climb a 20 ft. ladder and stay there.

Very marginal signal in Epsom area. Thinking of changing to Verizon or Cingular, which both just added on to a nearby Sprint tower. However, I use my phone a lot at Kerr Lake, and US Cellular gets great reception (about 4-5 bars) at Steele Creek Marina. No other carrier seems to get much signal there with the possible exception of Verizon, which just added a tower at Williamsboro.

Reception Sucks, called Alltel to complain and because we signed a 2 year contract I guess we are screwed. Basically what the person on the other end told me in a polite way. They also took the time to tell me after we got the phones that this phone is primarily used in the cities it is not a good phone for rural markets. HMMMM, maybe they should of told somebody that, since they are the ones selling it seems that a little info might be nice.

Since I "upgraded" my Nokia Cingular phone to a new Motorola V180 I get nothing but dropped calls. I've been told the Motorola is a GSM phone and won't accept analog signals. When is Cingular going to finish upgrading its' equipment? Help!
