Longtime Altel / Verizon customer who switched to AT&T through local agent 4 years ago. Reception at home or office was poor or non existans. AT&T provided execlent signal for these two locations but frequently droped calls when moving around in the local area. After a very nasty encounter between AT&T customer noservice and another member of the family I switched all accounts back to Verizon. After four years reception at the two locations I have the most need I have the worst service. Please build more towers.

I live in a valley and Verizon is poor. I also have a AT&T that is poor but better that V. We are going to try the $250 V femtocell (booster) hooked through Roadrunner.

Awesome coverage. Actually most of Guilford County has the best coverage for VZW. I understand that even country sherriffs use it because they get the best coverage through out the entire county

Reception previously with Alltel was good. Now, AT&T is very poor with many dropped calls.

Great reception everywhere I go. Don't understand some of the bad reviews in my area. Unless, it's cheap phones. I even had service all through the Blue Ridge mountains.

Great reception. Best phone in the world. Even drove deep into the Blue Ridge mountains. Signal every inch of the way. Had data most of the way. People complaining about Sprint must be buying the cheap phones.

I have had Cingular svc for many years never any problem until renewed contract last month, got the new SLVR and cant get but 1 to 2 bars was having "call failed" and dropped calls frequently I was very unhappy!,finally was told by an employee of Cingular that new FCC rules have required the wattage to be lowered in newer phones that is why recption not good,he suggested change to a Nokia(I am using their free model!)) and now I am not having any problem with failed or dropped calls anymore!

I too had to stand outside to use my phone. Had my phone reprogrammed, which did not effect the phones performance. Contract finally ran out and I went to Nextel. I'm hoping I don't run into the same problem. So far, so good.

I can't get a signal at my house. I only live about one mile from the RaceTrac on North Main Street. When I get close to the RaceTrac, the signal strength is full. I have experienced a lot of dropped calls and I switched back to TDMA from GSM because the GSM service was terrible. Also, I got charged roaming because my calls were bouncing off of some tower in Atlanta, GA. Took me months to get that one straightened out.
