Good luck getting and keeping a signal. Verizon signal is weak in Mocksville.

I get signal most places in my home, but thet does not mean that the phone will dial out or that calls will come in without going straight to voicemail. If I am at the back of my home which faces Hwy. 601 I can hear the other person and they can hear me. If I use the phone anywhere else: downstairs, front yard, garage, or driveway it will not be a conversation long before it cuts the call off. If I stand in the street in front of my house it works. Yay! How wonderful... Amazingly enough I get all text messages as soon as they are sent. I cannot use phone at all from Hwy. 601 until I get to I40. I cannot use phone from my home driving to Harmony either. For once in my life I would like a cell phone company that provided good service so that I could talk on a cell phone in my home. We can sent spacecrafts to space that can reach Pluto and beyond AND SEND PICTURES BACK, but it is not possible to have enough or use enough towers to provide good cell phone service to people. I know for a fact from a source of mine, if you can have a Motorola or Nokia phone you have two of the best phones with the best CDMA chipset available. Which is the best in signal reception received from the towers.

Poor reception and transmission. Echos and lost words with dropped calls. Data, must re-request email multiple times to lock in. Verison towers (3)all around 4 miles away, although there is an exhisting tower right there, but Verison does not want to use it. We have a County law which requires tower owner / operators to share space on their towers. For Verison "Its the network" but NOT here! Verison reports that this is a known issue, but they do NOT have it on the schedule to fix it.

Dead zone in this area. Calls usually dropped. Also, numerous occasions of not receiving voice messages until days after message was left. Will find out when another message comes in. When you check voicemail, you find the old message.
