I have missed many phone calls and texts simply because my phone was not placed in the ONE location in my apartment that has service... in the corner of the master bedroom. If I need to make a phone call, I have to step outside, but even then I can only pick up one bar - maybe two if I put my right arm over my head and stand on my left foot.

The only way to get at least 1-2 bars is outside and on some days I hardly have that, I'm at the river park apartments

Use Google voice on WiFi to make most of my calls.

$200 / month for family plans and cannot use our phones. Even with a network extender! Calls drop, and when they get through the person on the other end complains of constant dropouts. Unacceptable, and I would love to see a class-action lawsuit against Verizon.

Often times the iPhone switches from 3G to Edge in this area. Reception is not very good.

This month, there was yet another surprise on my Verizon's Wireless bill. Over a month ago, I signed up for unlimited texting for my son's phone. Once I recieved the bill,, there was a charge of over $165.00 for texting. When I called Customer Support, I was informed that I must be mistaken, that I did not infact take time to visit the Verizon Store, wait in line for over an hour and change the service for my son's phone. I admit, I may forget where I lay my keys from time to time, but I do remember taking my son, waiting in line and change his service. This will be the last time I wait in any line at Verizon. I am switching services before the week is out. My advise is to stay away from Verizon Wireless!

AT&T turned on 3G in Mooresville last night - have good 3G coverage of 4-5 bars all around 150 and Williamson Rd.and I-77.

So far, T-Mobile has been wonderful around M'ville. Verizon changed PRL's... everyone should stay away from them! Verizon has turned toxic!

I live by the water. My reception is horrible. I have tried to get out of my contract for a year and they say my reception is above moderate. I have a wiresless card with Verizon service as well. I barely get a single bar at my house and they say it is above moderate service. Soooo bad... wish I knew which service to get.

Recepetion can change with the wind (no joke) or location within the house. 0-4 bars. I switched from Verizon, which had the same poor reception. The only difference in the two with wireless cards and cell phones on the bill is the price... Verizon is FAR more expensive!

You can't talk inside the house because of 0 signal always needs to come out to speak on mobile which not clear. Customer support lady told they won't guarantee signal inside the building.

The AT&T coverage map shows that I should have the best signal as well as 3G coverage. However I get neither. Inside the office building, which has many glass windows, I get only 1 bar at my desk (which is about 20 feet from the windows) and maybe 2 bars standing right next to the windows. Outside of the building I get maybe 3 bars and no 3G coverage... ever. Calls are constantly dropped.

This phone works great. I drive to concord using Hwy. 3 and not drop calls unlike Verizion and Sprint. Got so tired of drop calles I switch to T mobile and I am very happy.

Use to have good reception now I have to be on the 2nd floor just to hear the other person. I though cell phone cover gets better in an area not worst. I switched to T-Mobile because of poor reception. I also drive Hwy. 3 to Concord and drop call all the time on the route.

Verizon works wonderfully everywhere except at my house on Stumpy Creek Rd. Reception is only one to two bars at my back porch facing to the south. Nextel I710 is also exactly the same. No difference between the two. I have had both for over four years.

I have never had a call dropped or lost in the mooresville area with verizon!

Verizon is terrible here and down to e.33 - however when on the "extended network" (i.e. Sprint) it is stellar - my company is switching me over to Sprint. That day cannot come to soon.

I travel to and from south Charlotte every day. Sprint coverage is never less than three bars the whole drive on I-77. From Exit 33 to Brawley... great coverage. Three bars to five down Brawley all the way to the Point.
