I live in Raeford, NC and my signal constantly fades. I would really wish Sprint will fix this. I've been a Sprint customer for over 10 years and this is very upsetting. This Raeford area is constantly growing with all the military families stationed at Fort Bragg military base.

Call reception is horrible most of the time. Can go outside onthe back porch and barely hear a call. Most of the time the phone deosn't ring. I use a cell booster ($300) and it deosn't help. Next step is to get a directional antenna for another $150. Sprint works well everywhere else besides my house. HUGE drawback. Other than very little reception at my house, I have had great service with Sprint. I am also patiently waiting for the Airave version 2, which include data and VOIP.

Many dropped calls. Usually only 1 or 2 bars maximum. Have gone shopping with the phone on my belt and when I get home the wife will be all pissed because I didn't answer her call. It never rang.

I just updated my phone from a Sprint LG phone and got better reception than I do with the Samsung rant m540. My Sprint LG is a folding phone with a small antenna. What makes the difference in the reception between the two phones? The Samsung rant is on a trial period at this moment (30 days). If this phone doesn't work out and I have to send it back, will I be able to pick another phone or get my old phone reactivated. Will the activation fee paid for the upgrade return phone be paid back to me?

I dont know who said Sprint sucked, but they are completely wrong. I have perfect reception and I live in the country. I even have reception on Plank Rd. I have never once had a dropped call with my phone. I have excellent reception in Raeford, Fayetteville, Aberdeen, Southern Pines, Pinehurst, Laurinberg, and the surrounding areas. You should feel confident having Sprint as a carrier out here.

Sprint SUCKS in Raeford, who's heard of Analog roam in this day and age... .. Trying to find another provider with at least better coverage, or even some.
