Never had any voice or data reception problems on the Alltel network in this area. Very reliable and have yet to come across any deadzones. Reception is fine indoors and outdoors.

Alltel reception all over Raleigh and NCSU campus is great even inside basement level all brick buildings. Reception is great at home in Garner, HWY 50 area as well. Alltel seems to have pretty good customer service, although they are late getting new phones. Overall great company though.

Excellent reception on phone. It's always on full signal it seems like wherever I go around Raleigh. I've never dropped a call since I switched over to Alltel. The calls sound very clear too, but I don't know how much that has to do with the phone. Always stick to Motorola or Nokia. But even indoors, there's not a restaurant I've been or store I've set foot in where the signal even drops indoors to where I can't make a call. The grocery stores, every shopping center I go to, Wal-Mart, absolutely no problems anywhere and it's always on full signal. Even on full signal on my 1st floor apartment away from windows. Great coverage all around area here. The My Circle option is a good feature too. With the family plan I'm on with 2 lines I get 900 anytime minutes, free nights and weekends and mobile-to-mobile, and free My Circle for $69.99. Nobody else had anything close. And the coverage is perfect all through Raleigh and Cary. I would definitely recommend Alltel to others in this area and I'm pleased with the switch.

Great coverage all throughout Raleigh. I'm not sure how many towers Alltel has here but the signal is always full. I have absolutely no complaints with coverage and the plans seem good too with the My Circle promotion. I actually went in on a family plan with my fiance because family plans seem like an even better deal. There's not been a single building I've been in where I couldn't make a call. Very good signal and clear calls all over campus, at my apartment several miles away from campus, at Wal-Mart, at the mall, and hospital where I work part-time. Not even any problems on the outskirts of the city or traveling thoughout the area here that I've found. Just very good coverage all over the area here.

My wife and I use both the Nokia 6255I and Nokia 6235I. I've had great reception with the 6255I, however her phone (6235I) can't be used at home unless she stands outside. Even then the reception is not all that good. In time I would like to update my phone, but because of Alltel's limited phone selection, I fear that the new phone I chose will not have as good as reception as the one I am currently using. I've read that the Nokia N80 has awesome reception.

Alltel reception was terrible at home and elsewhere. Tried four other providers; none good at home. Replaced three year old phone and stayed with Alltel. Reception now good at home and nearly everywhere. Very satisfied.
