Varies between 0 and 1 bar. Dont bother with ATT out here. My wifes Verizon phone is a little better but not much. 1 or 2 bars usually. Checking the tower map it's obvious why this is. Somebody please put up a tower in Garner!

Elevators, basements, and my apartment bedroom are not so great... and often drop. Everywhere else is fine, though!

reception terrible compared to what I used to have with US Cellular. choppy conversation and dropped calls are often. customer service is terrible. then they follow up after terrible customer service and that is terrible. my bill has not been right yet. I have to call every month (its been 5 so far) and get some mistake fixed. DO NOT GO WITH SPRINT

I have to go outside to talk on the phone and even then Sprint drops my calls or it is very spotty.

Terrible coverage for Verizon throughout the majority of Raleigh. Considering the somewhat decent coverage in WNC you would think with Raleigh being the state capital they would invest more than the rural mountains. This is not the case. Literally 1 mile from downtown on a busy road BOTH phones switched to no service and then 'Extended Network' (most likely Alltel). Seriously, I dont understand how this happens. I had service the whole trip down though except for 2 or 3 spots (Asheville to Raleigh)

Very poor AT&T coverage. Sprint coverage was good.

unless I want to stand in the middle of the street I get no reception in my house or yard with nextel, it's not the phone either, i've tried the i870 and two others also, it sucks! not to mention what you pay for their service is rediculous compared to other carriers

My contract is almost up and I can't wait to get out of this contract! \ / erizon is terrible! I have constant dropped calls and choppiness when I do happen to stay connected! I used to get half way decent reception, but the last six months have been awful!

Poor reception from the street, and no reception from my house. My friends Verizon phone doesn't work either.

Live down near Cedar Points Athletic complex and the reception is horrible. Have tried a few things like a TV antenna, aluminum foil and copper wire. You may get an extra bar but nothing really works, this is a true dead spot. Also neighbors have the same problem with Verizon in this area. The phone does not necessarily make the difference.
