	Recently purchased a home on a hillside between Lower Sawyers Creek and Lower Tuskegee Roads. No service from the home. Have to drive up to the church or the Appalachian Trail trailhead on Hwy. 143 to use the phone... Works well there.

	Verizon Cell Coverage is fine in Stecoah, but you lose the signal north of the Intersection with Route 143.

Alltel 1 Out of 5 Phone Model: Motorola T720	Hwy. 129 / Cross Creek Development, Robbinsville, NC 28771	Wed Dec 14, 2005
	Phone either says "No Service" or has no bars. Enough signal to tell you the time of day - phone may ring but not enough signal strength to call out. Alltel told me that we would not have a problem since they have an agreement in place to use Verizon towers in the area. They even gave me a code to use to update the phone for this area code to use the Verizon towers - but all I get is a recording.
